Hundred days of creating art in 2019
#the100dayproject is a free art project that takes place online.
Every spring, thousands of people all around the world commit to 100 days of exploring their creativity.
At the beginning of April 2019 I saw the first posts appear on Instagram and I decided to become one of these thousands.
Tiny dots
I named my own contribution #100daysoftinydots because, well, the project had to last a hundred days and my work usually consists of lots of tiny dots.
I decided to create a small work every day, like mini canvases, magnets and cards. And maybe once in a while a sketch or an update of a larger work.
A little bit too ambitious
But after a few days of creating, photographing and posting new work, I had to admit my ambitions were too high.
In order to reduce the pressure for myself, I changed my plans. I would make a hundred works, just not in a hundred days.

One of the new cards I painted this week. They will be added to my web shop later this week. I’m also working on getting prints available for sale. It’s been fun testing all kinds of different paper!

I started to work on four different pieces today and this is the one I finished. It feels a bit like cheating, but I’ve decided it’s just multi tasking because of the drying time of the bigger dots.😇
