Honderd dagen creëren in 2019
Jezelf honderd dagen lang toeleggen op het verkennen van je creativiteit. Dat is de essentie van het online kunstproject #the100dayproject. Begin april 2019 zag ik de eerste posts op Instagram verschijnen en ik besloot mee te doen aan deze zesde editie.
Heel veel kleine dotjes
Ik noemde mijn eigen bijdrage #100daysoftinydots omdat, nou ja, het project moest honderd dagen duren en eigenlijk al mijn werk is voorzien van kleine dotjes.
Voor dit project maakte ik voornamelijk kleiner werk. Denk aan mini canvassen, magneten en kaarten. En een enkele keer een schets of een update van een groter werk.
Iets te ambitieus
Elke dag een nieuw werk bedenken, maken, fotograferen en posten bleek na een paar dagen toch iets te hoog gegrepen. Om de druk een beetje te verminderen besloot ik wel honderd werken te maken, maar niet in 100 opeenvolgende dagen.
Mijn honderdste bijdrage heb ik gered, al was het inmiddels januari 2020. Leuk om eens aan zo’n project mee te doen, maar voor mij zeker niet ieder jaar.

I started to work on four different pieces today and this is the one I finished. It feels a bit like cheating, but I’ve decided it’s just multi tasking because of the drying time of the bigger dots.😇
I’m also starting to wonder where I will leave all the little paintings with tiny dots, assuming I will make it to 100... List them on Etsy? Put them on my own site that I’m building right now?
